  • Ciba-Geigy (a legacy company of Syngenta) first established a biotechnology research facility in Research Triangle Park in 1983. The facility has grown and developed since then, including expansion of the labs and greenhouses in 2000, and the addition of the Mary-Dell Chilton Center in 2002.
